What criteria must I meet?

You need at least one: VC funding from a recognized investor, a patent, partnership with an SG incubator, or demonstrable entrepreneurial achievements.

Can my family join me in Singapore?

EntrePass holders may bring eligible family members to Singapore via a Dependant's Pass or Long-Term Visit Pass, but only if they meet MOM's business spending and local hiring requirements. Eligible family members can include a legally married spouse, unmarried children under 21, and in some cases parents or other family members under LTVP rules. This is not automatic and usually becomes relevant only once the required business milestones are met.

What is the path to Permanent Residency?

EntrePass holders can apply for PR after 6 months. Approval depends on business success and job creation.

What taxes will I pay in Singapore?

Singapore levies income tax on Singapore-sourced income at 0–24% for residents. Capital gains are not taxed. Corporate profits are subject to a 17% corporate tax rate.

Can I hire employees?

Yes, as an EntrePass holder you can hire employees. There are quotas for foreign employees that depend on the number of your local employees.

What is life like in Singapore as an entrepreneur?

Singapore is one of the best countries in the world for entrepreneurs. Excellent infrastructure, low bureaucratic burden, strong rule of law, and access to Asian markets make Singapore the ideal location.

Which industries are particularly suitable for the EntrePass?

The EntrePass is particularly suitable for tech startups, FinTech, CleanTech, and other innovative industries. MAS-regulated financial services, F&B, and retail are generally excluded.
